School Sponsorprogramma

Daniel Kamau

Daniel has been sponsored by Dominik Martzy from Austria. Dominik, thank you so much for enabling Daniel to have an education!

Birthday: 5th of May 2009

Daniel Kamau is ten years old and lives with his grandfather in the Soweto slums in Kahawa, Nairobi. He has two younger sisters (six and seven years old) who live with their grandmother and attend school.

Back then, Daniel Kamau lived with his parents, although his father physically and emotionally abused him. When he was seven years old his father left the family and he never saw him again. His mother makes money to feed the family and visits her son every week if she can.

He later dreams of being a mechanical engineer and fixing cars and motorcycles. In his free time, he likes to play with his friends on the field in front of the slum and to help his grandfather. He is a very active boy, likes going to church and loves the colour blue.
